Jessica and I had our third baby boy at 2:20 this morning…just after I returned from racing last night so Isaac raced my car day two of the Midway Fall Brawl. He had to requalify since my 5th place qualification didn’t count since I wasn’t the one racing my car. Isaac started 6th during the B Feature and finished 2nd. He started 17th in the Feature and finished 8th.
Midway had their 3rd annual Fall Brawl which is a two night event, Heats tonight and the Feature tomorrow. This big event resulted in over 185 cars showing up, 30 of which were Factory Stock. I started 6th in the 3rd of 3 heats and finished 2nd. I knew I had brake problems and we found the front left brake line was busted so we replaced it. The top 2 in each heat raced the pole dash to determine the top 6 placements. I started 4th in the pole dash and finished side by side with another car, but about 1 foot short, which means I start 5th in tomorrows Feature.
